an old journal

I'm on a bit of a mission... hence the crossposting this to many an old journal.

I'd like to apply to the RPG Tinworth, which is five years post Deathly Hallows, and, perhaps obviously, centered around Tinworth, Cornwall, a Muggle village with lots of Wizarding inhabitants. But the catch is, I'd really rather play one of the adults, and currently there are mostly kids/young adults cast.

I would love to play Fleur; I played her years ago, and seeing a game centered around her little village makes the muse come tumbling back - for this I would love a Bill to play with. I'm interested in Elinor Corner, as I think she has a wonderful set up, and her daughter looks active and fun to play with, but I know I would find myself desperately wanting her husband - who is listed as Gerald, though names can be modified - around so as not to cardboard him everywhere. On a different note (as I don't see them romantic, unless the chemistry winds up being there later), I'm really interested in Andromeda Tonks and Elias Rosier, and would play either of them. They both have had siblings who joined Voldemort and are now dead, and I'd really love to incorporate the idea that both of their spouses were killed somehow during the war. I think it's an interesting seed for a friendship of two neighbors, building on a common past.

Also, reminder to all that sign-ups for hphalloween end on the 10th. Right now there is a grand total of ONE person signed up (*cries into her pillow at her sad little exchange*). I know there are tons of exchanges going on right now; I know some of you might not be staying with LJ until Halloween; I know that by that time they'll probably have banned all fanfic of any rating beyond what's acceptable for the children of uptight Republicans, but dude I'd love for this exchange to succeed since I think Halloween is such a perfect theme for HP! So sign up! Tell your friends to sign up! Tell the children of uptight Republicans to sign up and make their parents accept that fandom is not going away!
